Adamawa State University is located in Mubi, in the Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State, Nigeria. It was established in 2002 by the Adamawa State University Law No. 10 of 2001.[1][2] The title caption of the university is "Towards ensuring rapid development and transformation of the State".[3] The current[as of?] vice chancellor is Dr Stephen Lagu.[4]

Construction of New Building

On the 21st of March, construction of a new faculty building was approved.[5]

Governing council

In the early of April 2024 the government of the state inaugurated a new governing council in the school, which includes the pro chancellor and chairman and the members.[6]
