Kajita Station (梶田駅, Kajita-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West).^[1]

Lines

Kajita Station is served by the JR West Fukuen Line, and is located 57.1 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Fukuyama. ^[2]

Station layout

The station consists of one side platform serving a single bi-directional track. There is no station building and the station is unattended. ^[2]

History

Kajita Station was opened on 1 October 1963. With the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR West.

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 5 passengers daily.^[3]
