The Kooks adalah grup musik pop-rock yang dibentuk tahun 2004 di Brighton, Inggris.[1] Grup ini sekarang beranggotakan Luke Pitchard (vokal/gitar), Hugh Harris (gitar/synthesizer), Alexis Nunez (drum) dan Peter Denton (bass).

Grup ini telah merilis empat album.

Pembentukan

Tiga anggota awal The Kooks (Paul, Luke and Hugh) bertemu ketika mereka bersekolah di BRIT School di Croydon, kemudian mereka pindah ke sekolah musik BIMM di mana mereka bertemu Max tahun 2002. Inspirasi untuk membuat grup musik dicetuskan oleh Luke, ketika ia dan Paul berbelanja pakaian di Primark.[2]
