Hawthornden Prize

L'Hawthornden Prize è un premio letterario britannico, fondato nel 1919 da Alice Warrender^[1], che ad Hawthornden Castle, in Scozia, era nata nel 1857. Gli autori sono premiati in base alla qualità "letteratura d'immaginazione" che può essere in verso on in prosa.^[2] Il premio viene conferito annualmente^[3], ma ci sono stati diversi periodi senza vincitori:^[4] nessun premio è stato assegnato negli anni 1945-57, 1959, 1966, 1971–73, e 1984-87.
