Paul Benjamin Auster (Newark, 3.2. 1947.- New York, 30.4. 2024.) je američki pisac koji živi u Brooklynu, a koji je poznat po djelima koje miješaju apsurdizam i kriminalistički žanr, kao što su The New York Trilogy (1987), Moon Palace (1989) i The Brooklyn Follies (2005).
