Eric Hilliard Nelson (8 Mayıs 1940 – 31 Aralık 1985), Amerikalı bir müzisyen, söz yazarı ve aktördü. Sekiz yaşından itibaren ailesiyle birlikte The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet adlı radyo ve televizyon dizisinde rol aldı. 1957'de popüler bir kayıt sanatçısı olarak uzun ve başarılı bir kariyere başladı.
1996'da Nelson, TV Rehberi'nin Tüm Zamanların En Büyük 50 TV Yıldızı listesinde 49. sırada yer aldı.
Nelson, 1963'ten 1982'de boşanana kadar Sharon Kristin Harmon ile evliydi. Dört çocukları oldu: aktris Tracy Nelson, ikiz oğulları ve müzisyenler Gunnar ve Matthew ve aktör Sam.
31 Aralık 1985'te Nelson, yolcusu olduğu Douglas DC-3, Guntersville, Alabama ve Dallas arasında uçuş sırasında acil iniş yapmaya çalışırken ağaçlara, direklere ve elektrik kablolarına çarptığında öldü. Yılbaşı gecesi konseri verecekti. Nelson'ın DC-3'ü sürekli olarak mekanik sorunlarla kuşatılmış görünüyordu. Her iki pilot da hayatta kaldı ancak yedi yolcunun tamamı öldü.
